Baylor, Kentucky, UNC, & Kansas round out the Elite Eight
Quincy Acy, a 6-foot-7 senior, produced a double-double to help the # 3 Baylor Bears moved their attack inside to beat the #10 Xavier Musketeers, 75-70 in the South regional semifinals.
The #1 Kentucky Wildcats took care of the team that beat them back in early December and are off to another regional final after putting all their weapons on display in a 102-90 victory over the #4 Indiana Hoosiers in the other South semifinal game.
SOUTH FINAL - #1 Kentucky vs. #3 Baylor - Sunday at 2:30 pm
Harrison Barnes scored five of his 12 points in overtime as the #1 North Carolina Tar Heels escaped a huge upset with a 73-65 victory over the #13 Ohio Bobcats in the Midwest regional semifinals.
Thomas Robinson had 18 points & 15 rebounds and Jeff Withey blocked a career-high 10 shots to finish one shy of the NCAA tournament record as the #2 Kansas Jayhawks held off the #11 North Carolina State Wolfpack, 60-57 in the other Midwest semifinal game.
MIDWEST FINAL - #1 North Carolina vs. #2 Kansas - Sunday at 5 pm
