Heat take advantage of exhausted Celtics in Game 1
Dwyane Wade scored 10 of his 22 points in the 4th quarter as the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics, 93-79 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Heat gained a 48-33 edge in rebounds, blocked 11 shots, and never trailed.
Shane Battier had 10 points & 10 rebounds for the Heat, who wasted an early 11-point first-half lead, then gave up 35 2nd-quarter points before running away to break a halftime tie with a 9-2 run early in the 3rd quarter.
Game 2 is set for this Wednesday night in Miami.
