Thunder's rally falls short as Heat even series, 100-96
Dwyane Wade rebounded from a poor opener to add 24 points and Chris Bosh had 16 points & 15 rebounds in his return to the starting lineup as the Miami Heat held on for a 100-96 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder that evened the NBA Finals at one game apiece.
Kevin Durant scored 32 points for the Thunder, but missed a short jumper with 9.9 seconds left after being bumped by the league's "MVP". However, the call was not made, thus enhancing suspicion about the officiating, especially in a Miami Heat game. Durant's basket would have tied a game in which the Thunder trailed the entire way.
Now Oklahoma City face the grueling task of winning three straight games in Miami, starting with Game 3 this Sunday night at 8 pm ET.
