The Detroit Tigers acquiring second baseman Omar Infante and right-hander Anibal Sanchez from Miami in exchange for 21-year-old righty Jacob Turner and two minor leaguers catcher Rob Brantley and left-hander Brian Flynn.
Detroit address a big issue at second base with an All-Star in Infante last season.
Infante hitting .287 with the Marlins this season, he played with the Tigers from 2002-2007. Sanchez 28 years old (5-7) with a 3.94 E.R.A. this season.
Jacob Turner was considered the Tigers top pitching prospect (1-1) 8.03 E.R.A. He won his first major league start this past Sunday v.s. the White Sox.
