The Detroit Tigers lost to the Anaheim Angels tonight by a score of 2-1. Tiger bats continued their anemic ways as they put up only five hits and one run against Angel starter Zack Greinke. Greinke went seven strong innings winning his first road game in over a month. Rick Porcello pitched six innings allowing seven hits, one being a two run double to Howard Kendrick in the sixth inning.The lone highlight for Detroit was Miguel Cabrera's solo homer in the eighth inning. The Tigers had won four in a row, and six of eight but their run production has slowed down dramatically.
