Memphis & Indiana earn big wins in Game 3 to lead 2-1
Marc Gasol scored 20 points and hit two free throws with 1:03 left to put Memphis ahead to stay as the Grizzlies held off the Oklahoma City Thunder, 87-81, to take a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series. Gasol scored 16 in the second half as Memphis remained unbeaten at home in the postseason. Game 4 will be this Monday night in Memphis.
Roy Hibbert finished with 24 points & 12 rebounds while Paul George nearly came up with another postseason triple double as they lead the Indiana Pacers to an 82-71 Game 3 victory over the New York Knicks and took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals. Indiana limited the Knicks to 35% shooting from the floor, allowed just three 3-pointers, and forced 15 turnovers. The Pacers will attempt to take command of the series in Game 4 this Tuesday night at home.
