Pacers return favor with 97-93 win vs. Heat to tie series 1-1
Roy Hibbert scored a postseason career-high 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while David West broke up two passes for huge turnovers as the Indiana Pacers evened the Eastern Conference Finals at a game apiece with a 97-93 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 2.
Paul George scored 22 points, George Hill added 18, and West finished with 13 for the Pacers, who handed the Heat just their fourth loss in their last 50 games, closed the game on a 13-5 run, and denied the top-seeded Heat twice in the final moments to finish it off.
With a legitimate chance to take command of the series after the Memorial Day weekend, the Pacers return home to Indianapolis to play Miami in Game 3 this Sunday night at 8:30 pm.
