A sellout crowd of 41,772, that helped push the home attendance over the three million mark for the season at Comerica Park, witnessed a comeback for the ages.  The White Sox had scored twice in the 7th inning, once in the 8th, and three times in the 9th to take a 6-0 lead.  The Detroit Tigers came back with a six-run 9th inning and capped it off with an Omar Infante walk-off single in the 12th to defeat Chicago, 7-6.

Combined with Cleveland defeating Houston, 4-1, the Tigers' magic number in the AL Central Division is down to 2.  With a win and an Indians loss, Detroit would clinch the division title once again.

The Tigers will have one last chance to win it in front of their fans at Comerica Park this Sunday afternoon at 1 pm against the White Sox before finishing off the rest of the regular season on the road in Minnesota and Miami.
