Struggles continue as Titans fall to Penguins, 77-63
Senior Evan Bruinsma scored 15 2nd-half points and Juwan Howard, Jr. recorded 20, but the Youngstown State Penguins was able to rally late and defeat the Detroit Titans, 77-63, at the Beeghly Center. The win was the Penguins first at home over Detroit since nearly six years ago.
Howard finished 7-of-15 from the field and 5-of-7 from the free throw line while grabbing six boards. Bruinsma went 6-of-8 from the field in the 2nd half and added three rebounds, two assists, & two steals.
Detroit will continue their three-game road trip to the state of Wisconsin to take on Milwaukee this Friday night at 8 pm, followed by a matchup with Green Bay next Sunday afternoon at 2 pm.
