Two inches of snow postpones Pistons-Hawks game
After securing a 107-83 win over Orlando Tuesday, the NBA decided to postpone the Detroit Pistons' game against the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena due to the two inches of snow that trapped motorists in their cars and leaving students in their schools overnight under 30 degree weather. However, NCAA's Georgia Tech, located in Atlanta, played their game in full against North Carolina, around the same time Pistons & Hawks would've played.
Since the Pistons were told to stay at the Palace of Auburn Hills, they will use the extra time to rest as they prepare to host Philadelphia this Saturday night at 7:30 pm while enduring wind chills below zero.
As for possiblilties of a rescheduled game, both teams have open dates this Thursday, but it's more likely the game will be made up on April 7th or 8th.
