Rockets hold off Blazers in OT to extend playoff series
Rookie Troy Daniels, who spent the vast majority of the season breaking 3-point shooting records in the NBDL (NBA's Developmental League), delivered the biggest shot of the Rockets' season by hitting a 3-pointer in overtime to help lift Houston to a 121-116 victory in Game 3 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Facing an 0-2 hole heading to Portland, Houston's James Harden finished with a career playoff-best 37 points and Dwight Howard added 24 points & 14 rebounds for the Rockets to trim the Blazers' series lead to 2-1. Game 4 is set for this Sunday night at 9:30 pm.
