Spurs beat the Heat, 111-92, to take 2-1 lead in NBA Finals
Kawhi Leonard scored a career-high 29 points as the San Antonio Spurs made a finals-record 76% of their shots in the first half in a 111-92 victory over the Miami Heat that gave them a 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals.
The Spurs made 19 of their first 21 shots and finished 25-of-33 in the first half, surpassing the 75% shooting by Orlando against the L.A. Lakers in the 2009 Finals. The Spurs led by as much as 25 and were only briefly challenged in their second lopsided victory of the series.
Game 4 of the NBA Finals will be this Thursday night at 9 pm at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
