Josh Smith missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds to play as the Oklahoma City Thunder held on for a 96-94 victory over the Detroit Pistons.  Detroit has now lost 12 straight games, which is two short of the franchise record.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led Detroit with 19 points, along with five assists, three rebounds, and a steal.

The Pistons (3-18 ) will host the Portland Trail Blazers this Tuesday night inside the Palace of Auburn Hills at 7:30 pm before heading out west for a three-game road trip.
