Plagued by turnovers, the Seattle Seahawks staged an incredible comeback to defeat the Green Bay Packers, 28-22, in overtime to remain NFC Champions.  Russell Wilson, who struggled until the final minutes, connected with Jermaine Kearse for a 35-yard touchdown 3:19 into OT to end the game.

Seattle trailed 19-7 with over four minutes remaining and had been ineffective on offense all game.  However, thanks to Green Bay's tight end Brandon Bostick mishandling the ball on the onside kick, it led to Marshall Lynch scoring a 24-yard touchdown run to give Seattle the lead.  On the 2-point conversion, Wilson, scrambling to avoid a sack, threw a desperate pass and was caught by Luke Willson to make it 22-19 with 1:25 remaining.

After Mason Crosby's 48-yard field goal tied the game for Green Bay to force overtime, Russell found Kearse for the winning touchdown.  The Seahawks will head to Arizona in two weeks to defend their Super Bowl title against the winner of the AFC title game between Indianapolis and New England.

The New England Patriots earned their sixth trip to the Super Bowl with a 45-7 destruction of the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship before a rain-soaked crowd in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

Quarterback Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes and LeGarrette Blount ran 30 times for 148 yards & three touchdowns as the Patriots pulled away after leading at halftime, 17-7. New England scored touchdowns on their first four 2nd-half possessions

The Patriots will move on to face the defending champion Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday, February 1st in Glendale, Arizona. New England head coach Bill Belichick will face Seattle's head coach Pete Carroll, whom he replaced as Patriots coach in 2000.
