MSU women earn hard-fought victory over Wisconsin, 77-71
Behind four players scoring in double figures, the Michigan State Spartans took down the Wisconsin Badgers, 77-71, at the Breslin Center.
Four different Spartans broke the 10-point barrier, led by sophomore forward Aerial Powers with 23 points along with a career-high 18 rebounds for her 16th double-double of the season, which leads the Big Ten and is tied for the NCAA lead. Sophomore guard Tori Jankoska added 19 points, senior forward Becca Mills scored 12 points, and freshman forward Kennedy Johnson had a season-best 11 points.
Michigan State (10-10, 2-7 Big Ten) will remain in East Lansing this Wednesday night to host Indiana at 7 pm.
