Stafford continues shootout curse as Wings fall to Jets, 5-4
Drew Stafford scored the only shootout goal to lift the Winnipeg Jets to a 5-4 victory over the Detroit Red Wings to snap a five-game road skid. It also ended the Wings' six-game home winning streak.
Niklas Kronwall & Darren Helm scored on powerplays for Detroit while Pavel Datsyuk finished the night with two goals of his own.
The Red Wings will be back on home ice this Monday night when they host another Original Six matchup against the Montreal Canadiens at 7:30 pm.
