Big Ten and Oakland enjoy a great day of basketball
Spike Albrecht scored 16 points to help the Michigan Wolverines pull off a huge win over the Ohio State Buckeyes, 64-57.
Zak Irvin added 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists for the injury-depleted Wolverines. U-M's victory evened the season series with the Buckeyes and ended a five-game losing streak.
Michigan (14-13, 7-8 Big Ten) will continue Big Ten action this Saturday when travel to Maryland to take on the Terrapins at noon.

Aerial Powers scored 18 points and matched a career-high with 18 rebounds for her 20th double-double of the season to help the Michigan State Spartans earn a big win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, 60-50.
Powers has now scored 600 points this season, which broke the school's single-season scoring record. Tori Jankoska finished the day with 21 points for the Spartans.
Michigan Sate (13-14, 5-11 Big Ten) will finish off the regular season on the road with two more games, beginning with this Wednesday night against Illinois at 8 pm.
