Abdelkader helps Wings break slump with 2-1 OT win vs. Blues
Justin Abdelkader's powerplay goal 24 seconds into overtime helped the Detroit Red Wings earn a 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues.
Erik Cole scored the other goal 24 seconds into the 3rd period and goaltender Jimmy Howard made 23 saves for the Red Wings.
Detroit will remain at the Joe Louis Arena this Tuesday night when they welcome in Arizona at 7:30 pm.
