N.Y. Islanders overwhelm Mrazek as Red Wings lose, 5-4
Frans Nielsen's goal, 16 seconds into the 2nd period, broke a 3-3 tie as the New York Islanders held on to defeat the Detroit Red Wings, 5-4.
Tomas Tatar, Drew Miller, Niklas Kronwall, and Pavel Datsyuk all scored for Detroit and goaltender Petr Mrazek allowed four goals before being replaced by Jimmy Howard.
The Red Wings will return home to the Joe Louis Arena this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm to take on the Ottawa Senators.
