Nick Castellanos hit a grand slam homerun that went into left-center field, nearly hitting the retired #6 display of Al Kaline, as part of an eight-run 3rd inning for the Detroit Tigers in their 9-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners.
Anibal Sanchez (10-7) won his 7th straight decision, and Ian Kinsler finished with four hits for the Tigers, and closer Joakim Soria ended the game for his 200th career save.
Detroit will wrap up their four-game series with Seattle at Comerica Park this Thursday afternoon at 1 pm before hitting the road for two weeks.
