Late rally gets Tigers a hard-fought victory over Royals, 7-4
Ian Kinsler doubled home two runs in a four-run 8th inning as the Detroit Tigers broke their three-game losing streak with a 7-4 victory over the Kansas City Royals.
Detroit's latest starting pitcher Daniel Norris, who was acquired from Toronto in the David Price trade, gave up four runs on six hits in 6 & 1/3 innings.
After taking time off on Thursday, the Tigers will head south to Houston to face the Astros in a three-game weekend series, which begins this Friday night at 8 pm.
