Red Wings struggle on the road in loss to Montreal, 4-1
Jeff Petry, the son of former Detroit Tigers pitcher Dan Petry, helped the Montreal Canadiens go 6-0 for the first time in franchise history with a 4-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
Rookie Dylan Larkin scored the lone goal for Detroit and goaltender Petr Mrazek made 37 saves, but allowed three to slip by in the 3rd period.
The Red Wings will travel west to continue their Canadian road trip as they get ready to face the Edmonton Oilers this Wednesday night at 9:30 pm ET.
