Pistons' furious comeback pays off in defeating Blazers, 120-103
Andre Drummond had 29 points & 27 rebounds and Reggie Jackson scored a career-high 40 points as the Detroit Pistons rallied hard in the 4th quarter to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers, 120-103. Jackson had 26 points in the 4th quarter alone as Detroit outscored Portland, 41-11, in the final period. The Blazers led by as many as 18 points in the 3rd quarter.
Drummond, who came into the game leading the NBA with nearly 19 rebounds per game, now has double-doubles in all six of the Pistons' games this season and it's his 7th career game with at least 20 points & 20 rebounds. The win is Detroit's first in Portland since 2007 as they also snapped a six-game overall losing streak to the Blazers.
The Pistons' six-game west coast trip continues this Monday night when they visit Oakland, California to take on the NBA champion Golden State Warriors at 10:30 pm ET.
