Ryan O'Reilly and Johan Larsson scored 61 seconds apart late in the 3rd period to rally the Buffalo Sabres to a 2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings. The Wings have now blown 3rd-period leads in nine of their last 14 games.

Buffalo snapped an eight-game winless streak in Detroit with their first victory at the Joe in over nine years. After a scoreless 1st period, Pavel Datsyuk scored the lone goal for Detroit while goaltender Petr Mrazek made 28 saves.

After taking three days off, the Red Wings will be back on the ice at the Joe Louis Arena when they host Vancouver this Friday night at 7:30 pm.
