Titans grind out win in Horizon League opener vs. Penguins, 96-87

Senior Anton Wilson scored a career-high 34 points – including 26 in the 2nd half - and sophomore Jaleel Hogan had a career-best 17 points as the Detroit Titans defeated the Youngstown State Penguins, 96-87, in their Horizon League opener.

Detroit has now won 10 in a row at Calihan Hall and improved to 7-5 on the season (1-0 Horizon League).

The Titans will remain at home to host another doubleheader against Cleveland State this Monday. The women will play at 5 pm, followed by the men at 7:30 pm.
