Titans roll over UIC; Western Michigan & Oakland fall hard

On a late Friday night in front of a nationally televised audience, the Detroit Titans took down the UIC Flames, 87-69, to improve to 9-5 on the season and 3-0 in the Horizon League. The victory was also the 12th straight at home for UDM, who are now 9-0 at Calihan Hall this year.
Detroit was led by sophomore Paris Bass with 17 points, followed by senior Carlton Brundidge with 15 points, junior Chris Jenkins with 14 points, senior Anton Wilson & freshman Gerald Blackshear finished the night with 10 points each.
Up next for the Titans at Calihan Hall is a showdown with Valparaiso, who are also undefeated in the Horizon League (2-0). Game time is set for this Sunday afternoon at 1 pm.
