Lead slips away as Red Wings fall to Kings in Los Angeles, 4-2
Anze Kopitar had a powerplay goal & three assists and Alec Martinez scored the tiebreaking powerplay goal early in the 3rd period as the Los Angeles Kings won their 7th game in nine attempts, 4-2, over the Detroit Red Wings.
Tomas Tatar and Alexey Marchenko scored late in the 1st period for Detroit, who suffered their first loss during their six games away from home.
The Red Wings will end their long two-week road trip in the desert when they face the Arizona Coyotes this Thursday night at 9 pm ET.
