Michigan & the MAC women come out victorious on the road

Derrick Walton Jr. led Michigan's strong start with 19 of his career-high 26 points in the 1st half as the Wolverines held on to defeat the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 82-74.

Walton Jr. added eight rebounds and seven assists for Michigan, who shot 56% (14-for-25) from 3-point range.

The Wolverines will return home to Ann Arbor to host Purdue this Saturday afternoon at 2 pm.
