Michigan survives against Northwestern in OT; MAC & Horizon fall
Zak Irvin's game-winning jumper with 3.3 seconds to play completed a 19-point effort to help the Michigan Wolverines pull off a 72-70 overtime victory over the Northwestern Wildcats in the 2nd round of the 2016 Big Ten tournament.
Duncan Robinson led Michigan with 21 points and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman contributed with 14 points.
With the win, the #8 Wolverines have advanced to the quarterfinals and will play #1 Indiana this Friday at noon.
