Andre Drummond had 30 points and 14 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons never trailed in earning a 118-102 victory over the Orlando Magic. The Pistons have now won four straight and still has four games remaining in a nine-game stay at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Tobias Harris scored 18 points against his former team and Reggie Jackson added 16 points & nine assists for Detroit (38-34), who finally jumped ahead of Chicago (36-34) for the eighth & final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, thanks to a little help from New York, who defeated the Bulls, minutes after the Pistons won.
With Detroit now being only a percentage point behind Indiana (37-33) for the #7 spot, they hope to improve their playoff position when they face Charlotte at the Palace this Friday night at 7:30 pm.
