Red Wings go cold as Montreal wins with shutout, 5-0
Andrew Shaw scored and added two assists to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Detroit Red Wings to extend their winning streak to four games.
Goaltender Jimmy Howard gave up five goals on 25 shots before being replaced by Petr Mrazek at the start of the 3rd period. Mrazek made 12 saves in relief for Detroit, who are now 8-7-1.
The Red Wings return home to the Joe Louis Arena to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.
