Slay & Prater help Lions claim 1st place with 16-13 win vs. Vikings
Darius Slay intercepted Sam Bradford's pass with 30 seconds left to set up Matt Prater's 40-yard field goal as time expired to help the Detroit Lions earn a 16-13 win over the Minnesota Vikings in their annual Thanksgiving game.
Detroit (7-4) have won six of their last seven games, including two against Minnesota this month and four of the wins have come on Prater's field goals, despite trailing in the 4th quarter of every game this season.
Now in sole possession of 1st place in the NFC North Division, the Lions will look to defend their position when they travel to New Orleans next Sunday (Dec. 4) to take on the Saints at 1 pm.
