Ducks first to enter conference semis with sweep of Calgary
Last season, no team from Canada made the playoffs for the first time in NHL history. This year, five teams made it to the postseason. It is now down to four after the Anaheim Ducks completed a four-game sweep of the Calgary Flames in the Pacific bracket of the Western Conference quarterfinals with a 3-1 win.
The Ducks will head back home to Anaheim in preparation for the conference semifinals as they await to host the winner of the Edmonton/San Jose series, which is currently tied at two.
