2011 season shows promise
The Detroit Lions wrapped up the season with a 4-game winning streak. Ndamukong Suh & Calvin Johnson are starters in this year's Pro Bowl. The Lions tripled their wins from last season & feelin' good about.
And this is coming from a team that finished below .500.
Things are looking up for the Lions for next season. So much in fact that some are wondering if they'll be playoff bound. For the Lions, the focus is now on the NFL Draft, who will make their pick at #13, which is the lowest pick they've had in a few years. As for who they should pick, it would probably be wise to go for an offensive lineman, just so we can keep our quarterbacks healthy, or a defensive back, which the Lions wouldn't mind a few more interceptions, tackles, or knockdowns, whichever comes first. Head coach Jim Schwartz has helped bring the Lions out of the gutter and now they, as well as fans, can actually look forward to a bright future.
