Henrik Zetterbrg scored in a shootout for the Detroit Red Wings as beat the Chicago Blackhawks, 4-3. Zetterberg also scored late in the first while Nick Lidstrom scored on a powerplay in the second period.
Goalie Ty Conklin saved 21 of 24 shots.
In preseason games, teams are always afraid of injuries, like for example, what happened to the Red Wings left winger Jan Mursak, who will be lost for at least two months with a leg injury.
