Central Michigan falls hard to the Ohio Bobcats, 43-28
Freshmen wide receivers Courtney Williams and Titus Davis combined for 243 yards receiving and three touchdowns, but the Ohio Bobcats were able to use their ground attack to run past the Central Michigan Chippewas, 43-28.
The Bobcats (7-3, 4-2 MAC) rushed for 309 yards as a team and Beau Blankenship ran for a 129 yards & two touchdowns in the contest, proving to be too much down the stretch for the Chippewas' (3-8, 2-5 MAC) defense.
Central's Williams finished the game with six catches for 133 yards & a score and Davis pulled in six catches as well for 110 yards & two touchdowns for the second-straight week. CMU's quarterback Ryan Radcliff finished the game 26-for-52 for 362 yards and three touchdowns, along with an interception.
The Chippewas will close out their season next Friday when they host MAC West co-leader Toledo at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. The kickoff is set for 8 pm.
