Boise State wipes out Arizona State in Vegas Bowl, 56-24
Kellen Moore, in his last college game, threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns that lead the Boise State Broncos (12-1) to an easy 56-24 win over Arizona State Sun Devils at the MAACO Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The turnovers won’t matter as fans in the state of Idaho will remember Moore, who set school records for passing yards, touchdowns, completions and total offense, and finished fifth all-time among NCAA quarterbacks for passing yards while racking up 50 total wins.
Even though Boise State was ranked 7th in the BCS standings, they were not invited to any one of the BCS bowl games. The Mountain West and Pac 12 conferences each received $1.1 million for the MAACO Bowl.
