Detroit wins a defensive battle against Milwaukee 58-57 at Calihan

Junior Jason Calliste hit a pair of free throws with 10 seconds remaining and gives Detroit a 58-57 win over Milwaukee at Calihan Hall. Detroit trailed by seven with under two minutes to play but forced its 25th tournover of the night-- eventually regain control and with the win to move into a four-way tie for third place in the Horizon League standings.

Sophomore Ray McCallum led all scorers with 18 points while senior Eli Holman added eight points and 11 rebounds for the Titans (14-12, 8-6 HL).


The Titans host Green Bay Sunday afternoon.
