Nyquist scores in OT as Wings beat Ducks, 5-4, to even series...YOUTUBE UNDER: CURRICH5

Gustav Nyquist scored with 1:21 into the first overtime to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-4 overtime victory over the Anheim Ducks in their Western Conference quarterfinals to tie the series at one.

Detroit opened the scoring with two quick goals five minutes into the game for a 2-0 lead. Johan Franzen scored in the 2nd and 3rd period, but Anaheim came back vigerously with three goals to tie the game at four in regulation.

On the powerplay in overtime, Dan Cleary's pass to Nyquist beat Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller for the victory.

The Red Wings will make their way back home to the Joe Louis Arena this Saturday night at 7:30 pm.
