Doug Fister gave up three runs in the first inning and the Tigers lose to the Twins 3-2. Fister (5-2) settled down and allowing just four hits the rest of the way. Thw Tigers clipped away at Minnesota's lead in the fifth on a RBI double from Torii Hunter. The sixth inning Jhonny Peralta hit a solo home run, his fifth of the season.
