Wolverines pull off a close one at Penn State
Shooting 56% along with solid defense late in the 2nd half, the Wolverines managed to slip by the Penn State Nittany Lions 65-62.
Darius Morris lead the team with 23 points, along with Tim Hardaway Jr. scoring all of his 13 points in the 2nd half. Stu Douglass played a big role too, with his four 3-pointers that helped Michigan pull off a big road win. Defense was a huge factor as well. In the last 7:40 of the game, the Wolverines held Penn State to only two points.
With the win behind them, the maize & blue return home to Ann Arbor this Wednesday night to face Northwestern at 6:30 pm.
