MIAMI HEAT - 2013 NBA CHAMPIONS

Dwyane Wade had 23 points & 10 rebounds and Shane Battier delivered six key 3-pointers to finish the night with 18 points as they helped lead the Miami Heat to their second straight title in a 95-88 victory in a tense game that was tight until Miami pulled away in the final minute.

Capping their best season in franchise history, the Heat ran off with their second straight thriller in the NBA's first championship series to go the distance since 2010.



Miami became the NBA's first repeat champions since the L.A. Lakers in 2010 and the first team to beat the Spurs in the NBA Finals.

Now that the NBA title stays in Miami for another season, all that's left for the league to do is bring in fresh faces for the upcoming 2013-14 season.  On Thursday, June 27th in Brooklyn, New York, the 2013 NBA Draft will take place featuring Detroit Titans' star Ray McCallum.  The draft is set to begin at 7 pm ET.
