Panthers slip past Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena, 2-1
Despite Daniel Cleary snapping his 23-game scoring drought in the 1st period, the Florida Panthers got by in the 3rd period with a 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena.
Wings goaltender Jonas Gustavsson, playing in back-to-back games for the first time this season, stopped 35 of 37 shots while Detroit wrapped up the night with 23 shots on goal.
The Red Wings will have a rematch with the Panthers when they travel to Florida this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.
