Struggles continue as Red Wings fall to Ducks, 5-2
The Detroit Red Wings had another bad night, this time in a 5-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks at Joe Louis Arena. The Wings are 0-4-2 in their last six games, in which they have scored just seven times.
Henrik Zetterberg is one of eight regulars injured, including other top forwards such as Johan Franzen and Gustav Nyquist. Newcomer Tomas Jurco and Daniel Cleary were the only scorers for Detroit.
As the Red Wings continue to heal as quickly as possible, they will stay at the Joe Louis Arnea to face the Calgary Flames this Thursday night at 7:30 pm.
