Nebraska wipes MSU women out of Big Ten tourney, 86-58
The #2 Michigan State Spartans suffered a crushing defeat in the semifinals of the women’s Big Ten tournament as they were torn apart by the #3 Nebraska Cornhuskers, 86-58.
The Spartans allowed Nebraska to hit 19-of-30 shots (63%) in the first half. Branndais Agee finished with a career-high 18 points for the Spartans.
Now the Spartans (22-9) await their fate on Selection Monday on March 17th to find out if they will be entered into the 2014 NCAA women's tournament.
