Kronwall helps Red Wings seal 4-2 victory over New Jersey
Along with an assist earlier in the 3rd period, Niklas Kronwall scored on a lucky bounce as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the New Jersey Devils, 4-2.
Jakub Kindl, Brendan Smith, and Johan Franzen also scored for the Red Wings, who outshot the Devils 31-17, and goaltender Jimmy Howard finished the night with 15 saves.
Detroit will return to action at the Joe Louis Arena this Sunday evening at 6 pm as they welcome back Stanley Cup champion & Red Wing legend Steve Yzerman and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
