Pistons fall to 3-12 after loss to L.A. Clippers, 104-98
After being beaten in Milwaukee, 98-86, Detroit gave Los Angeles a battle, but Chris Paul scored 14 of his 23 points in the 3rd quarter as the Clippers defeated the Pistons, 104-98.
Los Angeles outscored Detroit 32-25 in the 4th quarter and shot 65% from the field in the last 12 minutes, including a 5-for-7 finish from 3-point range. On a positive note for the Pistons, they outrebounded the Clippers 24-17 in the half, including a 7-2 edge on the offensive glass. Andre Drummond had 12 points and seven rebounds at the break.
The Pistons will attempt to break their 6-game losing streak this Friday night at 7:30 pm when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
