Lions bounce back vs. Chicago on Thanksgiving, 34-17
Calvin Johnson caught 11 passes for 146 yards with a pair of 1st half touchdowns as the Detroit Lions ended a two-game skid with a 34-17 victory over the Chicago Bears in a traditional Thanksgiving game.
Detroit finished with a season-high 474 yards in their highest-scoring game since a 35-14 victory over the N.Y. Giants in their season opener. Running back Joique Bell ran for two touchdowns for the Lions and quarterback Matthew Stafford went 34-of-45 for 390 yards with the two touchdown passes to Johnson.
While Detroit awaits to see the results of the Patriots-Packers game Sunday in hopes of regaining a tie for 1st place in the NFC North division, they will remain home at Ford Field to prepare for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday at 1 pm.
