Red Wings take care of business in Edmonton with 4-2 win
Pavel Datsyuk scored the tiebreaking goal on a powerplay with 34 seconds left in the game as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 4-2, for their fourth win in six games.
Datsyuk also had an assist, and Justin Abdelkader added a goal & assist for Detroit. Kyle Quincey & Luke Glendening also scored for the Red Wings (21-10-9) and goaltender Jimmy Howard made 21 saves and earned his 11th consecutive win over Edmonton.
Detroit will remain in Alberta, Canada as they head to Calgary to take on the Flames this Wednesday night at 9:30 pm ET.
