Irving's 38 points shuts down Pistons against Cavs, 103-95
Kyrie Irving took over the game & matched his season-high with 38 points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 103-95 victory over the Detroit Pistons for their 7th straight victory.
Greg Monroe finished the night with 17 points & 12 rebounds for the Pistons. D.J. Augustin had 19 points & nine assists and Andre Drummond had 12 points & 17 rebounds, but shot just 6-of-17 from the field.
Still learning to move on without point guard Bradnon Jennings, who is lost for the season due to a ruptured Achillies tendon, Detroit will head to Philadelphia this Wednesday night to play the 76ers at 7 pm.
